PR Lions Shortlist: Optus 'Clever Buoy' nominated for three, Whiskas 'Catstacam' and Airbnb for two

Australian campaigns have been shortlisted 13 times in the PR Lions, with Optus 'Clever Buoy' in the running for three gongs.

The campaign, which won a Gold Lion in Mobile yesterday, is a finalist in three categories, with PR agency Fuel Communications up for a gong in Technology and Manufacturing, Corporate Reputation and Communications and Environmental.

The Whiskas 'Catstacam' campaign, by Clemenger BBDO Sydney is up for two awards in Use of Digital Platforms and Community Building/Management. Clemenger BBDO Sydney is also in the running for a gong in Brand Voice for its 'Pepper Hacker' campaign for Dolmio.

Whybin\TBWA Sydney and PR agency N2N's 'Stay with Pride' campaign for Airbnb is up in the Sponsorship and Events and Experiment categories.

Other Australian campaigns in the running include McCann Melbourne for its 'Infrequent Flyers Club' campaign for TigerAir in the Corporate Reputation and Communication category, and GPY&R and PPR Sydney Farm Pride Foods campaign, 'The Billboard with Nothing to Hide' in up for Events and Experiential.

Leo Burnett has two chances, with its Sydney agency shortlisted for its Samsung 'LifeLive' campaign in Technology and Manufacturing and its Melbourne arm nominated in Food and Nutrition for its '#MyFamilyCan' campaign for SPC Ardmona.

DDB Sydney's '#MacItBetter' campaign for McDonald's, which picked up a Bronze Lion in Promo and Activations yesterday, is in the running in the retail and restaurants category while GPY&R and PPR Sydney Farm Pride Foods campaign, 'The Billboard with Nothing to Hide' is up for events and experiential.

However, the PR category has some big international contenders, including the '#LikeAGirl' campaign for Procter & Gamble – Always, by MSL Group New York and Leo Burnett Toronto and 'Love has No Labels' for AdCouncil by R/GA New York.

The PR Lions received 1969 entires this year, from 70 different countries.
