News Corp Australia’s podcast series The Lighthouse has surged to second place in the first podcast rankings of the year.
The series, which follows the disappearance of a Belgian backpacker in Australia, climbed five spots, sitting behind Hamish & Andy’s podcast.
Also breaking into the top five is Schwartz Media’s 7am podcast. It’s the first time the series has featured in the rankings, after signing on with other independent producers last month.
Today’s Podcast Ranker covers the period from November 25 - December 22.
