CHEP wins Compare Club media account pitch

CHEP Media has been appointed agency of record for health and life insurance comparator, Compare Club, following a competitive review.

Independent agency Today the Brave has been appointed to Carnival Cruise Line’s (CCL) creative account.

Initiative takes Priceline from PHD

Priceline Pharmacy has awarded Initiative its media services account following a three-month competitive pitch. Previously, the account was held by PHD Melbourne for nine years.

CHEP Network retains CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy

Victorian electricity distribution networks, CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy, have appointed CHEP Network as their retained creative and media partner, following a competitive pitch.

The partnership will see CHEP lead brand strategy, media strategy, creative and media execution across the portfolio of brands, with new brand work set to launch later this year.

Starcom Australia retains Metcash

Food, liquor and hardware supplier Metcash has re-appointed Starcom to its media strategy, planning and buying account in Australia.

Effective immediately, the re-appointment is inclusive of brands IGA, ALM, Independent Hardware Group and Total Tools and signifies an extension of the 15-year partnership between Starcom and Metcash.

Carat secures SA Tourism Commission account

Carat South Australia, a dentsu company, has secured the South Australian Tourism Commission domestic account for 2023-24.

The agency will be responsible for media planning, buying and strategy for the tourism commission which has a commitment to growing the state’s visitor economy to $12.8 billion by 2030.

Specsavers appoints TBWA\Melbourne as creative agency

Specsavers has appointed TBWA\Melbourne – The Disruption Company, as its creative services agency in Australia and New Zealand, following a recent competitive pitch process.

The agency takes over creative duties from AJF, which worked on the brand since its appointment in 2020.

Bench wins Jaycar digital media account

Electronics Group Jaycar has appointed independent digital media agency Bench Media to manage its digital media strategy, planning and buying account for Jaycar and Road Tech Marine across Australia and New Zealand.

Venetian Media Group wins Victorian transport OOH pitch

The Department of Transport and Planning in Victoria has awarded Venetian Media Group's Captive Vision Outdoor a highly sought after competitive concession that will also allow sister brand Revolution360 to offer advertisers a host of new assets.

The contract will see CVO roll out up to 100 new Victorian advertising locations each year, including street posters, static and future digital assets. The exclusive concession will help transform the streetscape by removing unsightly graffiti and illegal posters across the state.
