By AdNews | 12 December 2019

It’s hard to keep track of the account wins and losses across the industry. To help you keep on top of who has what, here’s a wrap of the pitches from the week.

Officeworks
Officeworks has appointed Reprise, IPG Mediabrands’ digitally-led full-service performance agency, following a competitive pitch. The appointment will see Reprise working in close collaboration with fellow Mediabrands agency Initiative, Officeworks’ national agency of record, as the brand looks to accelerate its e-commerce outreach. A primary focus for Reprise will be initiating, planning and implementing acquisition strategies using paid search to drive incremental traffic and sales, as well as connecting with new audiences. The new Officeworks partnership also sees Reprise working across Geeks2U, a national on-site tech support provider that was acquired by Officeworks earlier this year.

DrinkWise
DrinkWise has appointed The Monkeys, part of Accenture Interactive, as its creative agency of record. DrinkWise is an independent, not-for-profit organisation with the primary goal of bringing about a healthier and safer drinking culture in Australia. After working together over the past year on a project and consultancy basis, earlier this year, The Monkeys and DrinkWise released their first piece of creative work together – a film to launch the newly established NRL and DrinkWise partnership.

Melbourne Star Observation Wheel
Melbourne Star Observation Wheel has appointed marketing communications agency Keep Left as its national public relations partner, to drive external communications in collaboration with its in-house sales and marketing team. Melbourne Star Observation Wheel has tasked Keep Left with increasing the brand exposure of the Melbourne Star, along with growing visitation with both the locals and tourists. The scope includes public relations, influencer management, strategic partnerships and events.

Zest Care

The agency will work closely with Zest Care delivering strategy, digital and creative across Zest Care’s suite of offerings. Zest Care is a leading registered disability service provider for NDIS recipients. The partnership brings together Zest Cares dedication and passion with Focus Creatives insights based approach.

Private owner, operator and developer of retirement villages RetireAustralia has appointed Audience Group as its media agency of record, following a competitive pitch. The company previously worked with MediaCom and IProspect. Audience Group is tasked with helping RetireAustralia reach audiences for its network of 27 retirement businesses.
