It’s hard to keep track of the account wins and losses across the industry. To help you keep on top of who has what, here’s a wrap of the pitches from the week.
Goodman Fielder
FMCG company Goodman Fielder has appointed The Works, part of the RXP Group, as its creative agency partner. This follows a six-week pitch process for a creative agency to work across all their brands. Goodman Fielder's stable of brands including Helga’s, MeadowLea, Praise, White Wings and Wonder. The appointment of The Works is immediate across all brands and the work done in the pitch will go straight into pre-production.
Revlon Professional and American Crew
Revlon Professional Australia and American Crew have appointed Red Havas as its agency of record for integrated communications following a competitive pitch. Red Havas will lead a strategic communications program, aimed at driving the Revlon Professional ‘Create Boldly, Live Boldly’ platform and American Crew grooming credentials, elevating the brands to new heights in 2020 and beyond. The agency will support both brands across communications strategy, creative, consumer and trade PR, experiential marketing, influencer management, social media and trade advertising. The account will be led by Red Havas’ Melbourne office, utilising the agency’s local team of specialists.
Oxfam
Oxfam Australia will retain BizWisdom as its digital agency of choice after the Melbourne-based agency won a competitive tender for its 2020/2021 activity. The win puts BizWisdom in charge of paid search, paid social and programmatic activity for the Australian arm of the not for profit, as part of a 12-month program that also includes radio and SEO. The announcement means that the partnership between Oxfam Australia and BizWisdom will now extend into its seventh year.
BMW and Mini
BMW Sydney and MINI Garage Sydney has appointed FORWARD Agency to deliver social media strategy, content planning and creation, paid social media buying, social analytics and lead generation for the two iconic car brands. BMW Sydney and MINI Garage Sydney are the flagship stores in the new $65M state-of-the-art dealership that opened at Rushcutters Bay in 2019. The appointment is effective from May 1.
YouGov
Audience technology platform Eyeota has expanded its data partnership with YouGov, an international research data and analytics group, headquartered in London. Eyeota now enables activation of audiences built on YouGov data in Australia, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Marketers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany have been leveraging YouGov and Eyeota audiences since 2016. Through the YouGov and Eyeota partnership, marketers can use research data tailored to audience-specific metrics across their entire campaign lifecycle from audience insight and planning to activation.
Zoom
Video chat platform Zoom has appointed Mahlab as its public relations agency across the Australian and New Zealand markets. The agency won the account last month. Zoom joins Mahlab's growing client list which includes Prospa, Salesforce, Australian Human Resources Institute, CommSec, Engineers Australia and Kronos.
