Cummins&Partners expands relationship with EnergyAustralia
Cummins&Partners will now manage EnergyAustralia’s entire marketing and media business, as the leading retailer consolidates its creative media requirements. The agency, first appointed as EnergyAustralia’s creative agency of record in 2016, will now deliver full end-to-end services across strategy, creative, digital, social content and production, and media. The integrated account further brings Cummins&Partners independent positioning of creative/media to life with EnergyAustralia’s integrated duties, becoming arguably one of Australia’s largest creative and media accounts.
M&C Saatchi wins World Vision Australia
World Vision Australia has appointed M&C Saatchi as its creative agency partner to work alongside its in-house team. The account had been out to pitch since July, with incumbents The Royals not taking part in the process, according to industry insiders. M&C Saatchi will work with the organisation’s in-house team from early 2021.
Indie agency 18HANDS wins Acoustica
Noise control innovation company Acoustica has named 18HANDS as its creative and digital agency. The agency will work with Acoustica, which has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, to provide creative business solutions. Steve Sidhu, 18HANDS managing principal and ECD says: “Acoustica represents a fantastic opportunity. Daniel (Acoustica MD) and his team are great to work with. It’s also a nice way to end what has been a very challenging and unprecedented year”.
Respect Victoria sticks with The Shannon Company
Behaviour Change specialists The Shannon Company will continue at the forefront of communication efforts to prevent family violence and violence against women, after being reappointed by Respect Victoria. The Shannon Company initially won the role at tender in 2016, and the re-appointment follows a further tender. Respect Victoria is an organisation dedicated to the primary prevention of all forms of family violence and violence against women.
OMD retains DuluxGroup
OMD has been reappointed as master media agency to DuluxGroup, following a competitive pitch. DuluxGroup includes Dulux Paints (including British Paints), Woodcare (including Cabot’s), Selleys, Yates and B&D Doors. OMD Melbourne will continue with its current remit of media strategy, planning and buying across all channels.
Australian Pork appoints Keep Left
The peak body representing Australian pork producers, Australian Pork Limited, has announced Keep Left to lead its Christmas hamawareness campaign, following a competitive pitch. Keep Left will provide marketing communications services to the industry body for public relations and influencer relations to educate and motivate Australian consumers to buy ham made with Australian pork this Christmas.
Ikon takes over University of Otago account
Ikon has been appointed to the University of Otago media account, following a competitive pitch. Drew DeSantis, Ikon's managing partner, says it’s an amazing opportunity to work with the most highly regarded university in New Zealand.
