Vevo's 2024 Upfront this week also served as a celebration marking five years of Vevo’s local team and office in Australia.
The event - held at The Beresford in Sydney's Surry Hills - featured a presentation from Vevo’s APAC MD Steve Sos and Vevo Australia & New Zealand's head of sales Tim O'Connor before a special performance by Sneaky Sound System.
Vevo has a monthly reach of 11.7 million Australians, a larger audience than the entire ad-supported BVOD market, the company revealed at it Sydney Upfronts last night.
On YouTube specifically, Vevo revealed that while its library (of nearly one million music videos) makes up less than 1% of the content on the platform, it reaches 57% of YouTube viewers every month.
