Nina Nyman, the popular CMO of the industry's social purpose organisation UnLtd, has had a baby.
Ollie Bo Christopher Marriott, was born on May 13, weighing 3.9kg and measuring 53cm.
"We’re all tired but very much in love with the little man," says Nina.
Nina says that the arrival of Ollie is a silver lining of the pandemic in 2020.
“Just like for everyone, last year was a challenging one – my husband lost his job at the start of the pandemic and the impact of long-term unemployment on our mental health has been a challenge," she says.
"Being expats like so many other people in the industry, all our family is in Europe and it’s been hard to cope with the uncertainty of not knowing when we might see them again.
“But good things have come out of last year too. The last three years I’ve been based on the Gold Coast commuting to Sydney weekly.
"Whilst I missed seeing the team, the pandemic allowed me to stay in one place long enough to undergo the many rounds of IVF treatments that eventually lead to the arrival of Ollie and it might have never happened had it been a ‘normal’ year.”
