At the heart of Omnicom Media Group's new Everleigh office, full service agency Resolution Digital hosted Richard Hopkins to celebrate international men's day.
International men’s day takes place each year on November 19 and the theme this year is Celebrating Mateship, there are many ways that you can get involved to ‘make time 4 mates’.
The event was also streamed to 180 people online, to ensure Resolution's Melbourne and Brisbane offices, as well as those working from home could attend.
Resolution Digital also celebrated with a catered lunch nationally as organised by its Spirit Committee.
Working in a high pressure environment, Hopkins shared how he balanced work and life when his role pushed him to work an average of 12 hours a day 7 days a week.
He pushed himself too hard and ended up having a heart attack at 28 but that “was probably the best thing that could ever happen for my career", he said.
"It’s not that my career isn’t important it’s that my family is more important," Hopkins concluded.
