IAB Australia recently provided an update on key industry topics and trends to the Brisbane market, also serving as an opportunity to connect the industry with the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
Held at QUT, the event featured just over 100 attendees drawn from brands, media owners and ad tech leaders, alongside academics, students, and marketers from QUT.
Gai Le Roy, CEO of IAB Australia, provided a revenue, consumers and commerce market trends update and held a Q&A with Jem Salcedo, head of sales ANZ for Azerion, before Jonas Jaanimagi, head of tech at IAB Australia, shared a product, data and privacy update and held a Q&A with Rahila Nadir, senior platform solutions lead at Yahoo.
A panel was also held, looking at local views on key industry topics, moderated by Vikki Pearce, head of digital at Zenith and featuring Aimee Gossage (sales director, MiQ); Rich Howells (national digital commercial director, ARN); Alison Costello (chief transformation officer, OMD); and Amy Jansen-Flynn, country manager AUNZ, Adform).
