
More 100 ad industry professionals came together at Publicis Groupe in Sydney o get the inside scoop on the strategy and creative process behind the year’s most effective ad campaigns.
Hosted by Kim Portrate, CEO of ThinkTV and Tony Hale, CEO of Advertising Council Australia, the annual The Work Behind The Work event gives agencies and marketers a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into winning a prestigious Effie Award - a recognised mark of advertising effectiveness across the APAC region.
Ranita Cowled, business director, Arnott’s Group, Toby Aldred, GM Saatchi & Saatchi/chief client officer, The Neighbourhood, Sabrina Douglas, marketing lead, Big W, and Hannah McHard, head of effectiveness, BMF Australia, were among the lineup of speakers who shared their secrets to the impact and ROI behind campaigns such as Saatchi & Saatchi’s ‘Little Moments’ for Arnott’s, BMF Australia’s ‘Off Season’ campaign for Tourism Tasmania, and M&C Saatchi’s 'Everyday’s a big day’ campaign for BIG W - which took out some of top accolades at this year’s Effie Awards.
For those in Melbourne, ‘'The Work Behind The Work’ takes place at CHEP Network next Tuesday, November 21. It will be a peek behind the curtain of ‘Flipvertisng’ by CHEP Network, ‘Little Moments’ by Saatchi & Saatchi, part of The Neighbourhood, and the ‘First Digital Nation’ by The Monkeys, part of Accenture Song.
