PHD reappointed to Singapore Airlines account

Omnicom media agency PHD has been reappointed to Singapore Airlines, AdNews can confirm.

PHD won the account from Publicis agency Zenith in the brand's last pitch in 2019.

A review, launched in the March quarter this year, was run out of APAC.

It is unclear how many years the airline has retained PHD for.

Omnicom-owned TBWA which has been the brand's creative agency for 16 years.

The brand's recent campaign, The Sound of Singapore Airlines: A melodic journey, was a stop-motion animation capturing the essence of a wanderlust experience with a sonic identity made up of three instrumental tracks played on board flights.

This month Singapore Airlines offered US$10,000 compensation payments to passengers who suffered minor injuries during a flight that hit sudden, extreme turbulence.

Singapore Airlines confirmed the win with AdNews.

PHD had no comment.
