Peter Alexander appoints Splendid

SYDNEY: Australian sleepwear brand Peter Alexander has tasked Sydney-based brand agency Splendid Communications with activating a brand awareness campaign in the New Zealand market. 
The campaign will involve utilising Peter Alexander the individual to promote Peter Alexander the brand, through below the line digital activity including social media, as well as experiential activity and PR. There will be no above-the-line marketing.
"New Zealand is a very important market in our growth strategy and we are committed to supporting the brand with a solid with a solid communication strategy," Peter Alexander general manager, Julie Otter, said.
Splendid Communications managing director Annalise Brown said: "We have grown up with the brand so we couldn't be more excited to be now operating a communications program for Peter Alexander in New Zealand. It's also a great opportunity for us to further demonstrate the Splendid approach beyond the Australian market."
Splendid was the only agency asked to pitch for the New Zealand brand activity. 
Peter Alexander currently operates seven outlets in New Zealand.
