Robbert Rietbroek will have overall responsibility for PepsiCo ANZ's snacks, beverages, and oats businesses, as well as its portfolio of brands such as Smith's and Bluebird potato chips, Pepsi Max, and Gatorade.
A PepsiCo ANZ spokesperson said Rietbroek is “committed to building sustainable, winning brand franchises that delight consumers and drive value”.
Rietbroek has served as MD and CEO of Kimberly-Clark for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands since August 2013. Prior to this, he spent 16 years at Procter & Gamble.
“Throughout his career, he has been recognised for exceptional brand building and innovation, including several awards for marketing initiatives,” PepsiCo ANZ said.
He is a board member of the Australian Food & Grocery Council (AFGC), chairman of the AFGC Health, Nutrition and Scientific Affairs Committee, and a director on the board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia.
