Grant Broadcasters announced that Paul Woodhouse will be moving back to Townsville to become the general manager of radio stations, Power 100 and Star 106.3.
Woodhouse, originally a Townsville local, has been the Cairns general manager for Grant Broadcasters for the past three years.
Paul is keen to return home: “I'm proud of what I have achieved in my time in Cairns and excited to have the opportunity to move back home to Townsville. We have a talented team for both Power 100 and Star 106.3, and the time is right for us to forge a stronger engagement in the community as the Leaders in Local.”
Grant Broadcasters state manager for Qld/NT, Matt Chapman: “I am looking forward to having Paul move down the road to Townsville. Paul has done a great job for us in Cairns and looking forward to Paul continuing his success in Townsville. Paul has worked in Townsville for many years prior to moving to Cairns. I know he is excited to reconnect with the Townsville community.”
Woodhouse starts in Townsville June 21. A search is already under way for his replacement in Cairns.
