Paramount Brand Studio creates content for Shark Tank

Paramount Brand Studio has created and produced a host of content with ANZ, OPTUS and Xero for Shark Tank Australia that will live across Paramount ANZ’s diverse ecosystem and partner channels. 

The content will harness the themes, talent, and IP of the format, strengthening their sponsorship alignment and deepening brand attention with the audience.

Tamar Hovagimian, head of integration and partnerships at Paramount Brand Studio, said the commercial appetite for Shark TankAustralia is strong, showing entrepreneurship, innovation, and small business opportunities resonate with so many brands including ANZ, Optus and Xero. 

“Shark Tank Australia is a unique combination of business and entertainment," she said.

"The business insights it offers viewers sets it apart from other shows and makes it a distinctive and engaging format. We’re excited to showcase our sponsors alongside this unique and entertaining format.”

Back in March, Michael Stanford, the head of Paramount ANZ Brand Studio told AdNews that Paramount ANZ Brand Studio is a different way of bringing the disciplines of the specialists into one team, becoming a full-service branded content studio. 

“It’s really looking at how can we make the most of this incredible playground at Paramount for the different, new opportunities. Whether it's integration, activation, the strategy work, the creative production, and also just some of these new IP opportunities that are coming up, it's really bringing those together."

Shark Tank Australia is based on the Dragons’ Den format owned by Japan’s Nippon TV and distributed by Sony Pictures Television. It will be produced for Network 10 by SPT’s Curio Pictures and premieres tonight, Tuesday August 29 at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.
