Pacific Magazines has promoted Nicole Bence as commercial director, following the departure of Prue Cox last year.
Bence joined Pacific Magazines from Nova in 2016 as commercial solutions and strategy director when the business restructured its commercial team. Previously she held a range of senior sale roles at NewsLifeMedia.
Also joining Pacific Magazines is Fran Vavallo, hailing from from location data tech platform Blis. She takes the role of sales director of Victoria and has held roles at Mamamia and SCA.
“Over the past 18 months, Nicole has played an instrument role in re-shaping our go to market strategy, accelerating our digital sales growth and delivering audience-led solutions that help Pacific’s clients better understand the effectiveness of their spend,” Pacific CEO Gereurd Roberts says.
“Nicole’s passion for strategy, data and insights is well known and we look forward to taking to market a pipeline of new initiatives including a series of signature research events, new data partnerships and a portfolio of new segmentation solutions.”
Bence says she looks forward to joining forces with Vavallo as the business continues to re-imagine its sales offering.
“We are constantly challenging ourselves to develop new and bespoke value propositions to clients and the next 12 months will be about accelerating those capabilities,” she says.
