Hair products giant Schwarzkopf has appointed independent creative agency Orchard to handle its digital account, following a competitive pitch.
To kick off the new partnership, Schwarzkopf, Orchard and media agency Zenith have collaborated to launch the world’s first Snapchat lens using the new ‘hair colour’ technology in Australia; supported by a push for the new 'Rose Gold Live Colour'..
Orchard managing partner Andrew Antoniou says Schwarzkopf is looking for aggressive growth in a very competitive market and Orchard is excited to be partnering them on their journey.
The campaign has already been a success, with more than 2.5 million uses of the filter.
Schwarzkopf digital communications manager Lauren Gooch says: “Having Orchard on board working alongside our existing partners for what promises to be a big year, completes the jigsaw. The team presented a robust approach and we have already instigated a number of projects.”
The 1876-founded German haircare brand is owned by Henkel, which is known for other brands such as Loctite, Persil.
