Optus has launched the next instalment of its new brand platform, It starts with Yes, via Special Group New Zealand.
The latest instalment, Chicken Marathon, is another story that demonstrates the fact that the greatest moments in life come from having the commitment, positivity and optimism to say yes.
In this 60-second film, Optus tells the story of a man who runs a half-marathon in a chicken suit, all because he had the courage to take on a challenge from his mates.
As a result, he achieved something he didn’t think he could do - run a half marathon – while getting a little fitter and spending some quality time with his family who supported him all the way. Contributing to a sense of satisfaction and pride.
“Optimism is something many of us are drawing on at the moment, which is why we are thrilled to be continuing the momentum with this campaign," Optus head of marketing Melissa Hopkins says.
"Sharing stories that demonstrate an optimistic mindset is not just about believing things will be great but having the courage and commitment to say ‘yes’ you can make great things happen.
“Most people’s immediate instinct is to say no to things that seem difficult. Through this campaign, we want to celebrate how we as a country, and Optus as a company are geared towards this mindset. Demonstrating how a really small idea can build into something bigger over time, bringing with it a sense of achievement and pride.”
