Out of Home industry leader Adam Cadwallader has been appointed CEO of ASX-listed digital transit media company XTD Limited.
The former oOh!media senior executive takes over from interim CEO Jason Byrne from 1 August.
“I’m incredibly excited to join the XTD business and look forward to working closely with the board to develop a new strategic plan that grows the business by connecting brands with engaged audiences.” says Cadwallader.
His base pay will be $301,125, with another $100,000 as a short term incentive.
XTD, in the half year to December reported a loss of just over $1 million on revenue of $1,787,482. The company has been stripping out costs, getting rid of consultants, and investigating digital out-of-home market opportunities.
Cadwallader has been in the media industry for more than 25 years, the last 19 years spent in Out of Home where he was most recently group sales strategy director for oOh!media.
Justus Wilde, XTD Chairman, says Cadwallader’s skills and experience are a perfect fit to drive the XTD business.
“Adam’s proven capabilities in building digital and integrated content Out of Home businesses that engage audiences and deliver on advertisers’ needs will set the XTD business on a new strategic path to deliver sustainable growth and results," he says.
Interim CEO Jason Byrne will return to his non-executive director role.
