OOH full year results for 2021

The out-of-home (OOH) industry today announced full year net media revenue results for 2021.

The industry saw a total increase of 24% on net media revenue in 2021.

Net media revenue for 2021 increased to $812.7 million, up from $655.2 millionfor 2020, across the following categories:

 

Category figures 2021:

  •        Roadside Billboards (over and under 25 square metres)

$360.4 million

  •        Roadside Other (street furniture, bus/tram externals,
    small format)

$190.8 million

  •        Transport (including airports)

$48 million

  •        Retail, Lifestyle and Other

$213.4 million

 

Category figures 2020:

  •        Roadside Billboards (over and under 25 square metres)

$273.6 million

  •        Roadside Other (street furniture, bus/tram externals,
    small format)

$154.2 million

  •        Transport (including airports)

$62.4 million

  •        Retail, Lifestyle and Other          

$165 million


Digital Out of Home (DOOH) revenue accounts for 58.8% of total net media revenue year-to-date, an increase over the recorded 55.2 per cent* for the same period last year.
