OMD Brisbane wins Volvo Group Australia account

OMD Brisbane has been named the media agency for the Volvo Group Australia, with the business consisting of Mack, UD, and Volvo Truck brands.

The win comes after a competitive pitch, which kicked-off in August, with OMD being appointed for two years.

OMD Brisbane’s general manager, Greg Radford said: “We are excited by the opportunity to work with the iconic global brands; Volvo, Mack and UD Trucks within the Volvo Group Australia (VGA) business. Working together with VGA, their creative agencies and wider media landscape, we have an opportunity to leverage content to target the relevant audience at the key stage in their consumer journey”.

The win comes as OMD's Sydney office restructured its lead roles following the promotion of PHD's Australia MD, Toby Hack.

The OMD was also recently named the most awarded media agency, according to the The Gunn Report for Media 2015.
