OMD's Sydney office has reopened after a two-day shut down implemented as a "precautionary measure" when an employee developed flu-like symptoms.
On Friday, the advertising agency staff were told to work from home while coronavirus tests, the results of which are still pending, were conducted.
Today OMD is giving staff who had no contact with the employee, who was visiting from London via Singapore, the option of coming into the office.
Those who had direct contact with the affected employee will keep working from home.
Foxtel Media also closed after staff visited the Sydney OMD office. Staff returned to Pyrmont today.
The London office of OMD was also shut a week ago but has since reopened.
Omnicom has postponed global travel to or from China, Japan, Hong Kong, Iran, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, or Northern Italy.
Dentsu in Japan also shut its office after an employee tested positive to the coronavirus.
