Ogilvy & Mather managing director Mike Daniels has resigned, two years after joining the company and less than a year as managing director.
Chief executive Stuart O’Brien will run the Sydney
office, while Andrew Baxter will continue to run Ogilvy Group Melbourne including
BADJAR Ogilvy. The role will not be replaced.
O&M said Daniels' immediate plans are unknown. Prior to joining Ogilvy Sydney, Daniels was group strategy director at Goodby Silverstein & Partners San Francisco. He joined Ogilvy as planning director and managing partner in November 2008.

His resignation follows a raft of management changes over the past 12 months at the STW-owned company, which saw Tom Moult join as executive chairman in January this year, and former BMF creative Andrew Ostrom take up the role of creative director in November
