Ogilvy Melbourne has named Jo Rozario as its new MD, following a reshuffle in senior management ranks.

Rozario takes the reins following current group MD Sean Taylor's move to Geometry Australia as head of country, which was announced yesterday. Geometry Australia is the product of a merger between Geometry and OgilvyAction.

In her new role, Rozario will work with the heads of business units across the Ogilvy Melbourne group to maximise collaboration. She will also sit on the national leadership team to drive further growth.

Rozario has more than 30 years' experience in the industry and was most recently at M&C Saatchi where she was managing partner. She has also held client-side roles including six years at NAB as head of marketing communication. She also worked at Adcorp Australia, Armstrongs, Melbourne's Gasworks Agency.

Ogilvy Australia CEO David Fox said Rozario's experience in cross-functional roles across digital, creative and strategy was key to her appointment.

“She also bring strong client-side insight, which will be vital to ensure that our market offering continues to be focussed on results and cutting edge creativity,” Fox said.

“Ogilvy's model is all about capitalising on this kind of collaboration for the benefit of the client, so we are excited to have someone of her calibre and focus to lead our Melbourne team.”
