Ogilvy dominates Australian Effie Awards finals 2022

Ogilvy Australia has gathered the most finalist positions in the Australian Effie Awards.

The agency has 14 across 11 categories for brands including ING, Yumi Brands (KFC), Suncorp and Common Ground.

The campaigns: The Long Game: KFC's Bucket Hunt; How KFC brought Christmas to July; The Baby Bank That Grew; AAMI - A Cautionary Tale of Bargain Regret; Disconnecting From Screens by Connecting to Country. 

BMF and Richards Rose had nine each, The Monkeys Australia eight, and M&C Saatchi and CHEP Network six each.

Ryan O’Connell, Ogilvy's chief strategy officer Sydney: "We’re obviously delighted to have the most entries shortlisted in the 2022 Australian Effies. 

"It’s great that we have 14 finalists across four clients. Congratulations to our amazing clients, agency partners, and everyone from Ogilvy who helped contribute. Fingers crossed for some more good news at the award show later in the year.” 

The Advertising Council Australia announced 87 finalists from 19 agencies on behalf of 33 clients.

The winners, Effective Agency of the Year, Effective Advertiser Award, and Grand Effie, will be announced October 19.
