Oat drink company Oatly has rolled out its ‘Support Your Local Oat Dealer’ campaign to help baristas during a cost-of-living crisis.
The brand has invested in large-scale posters and billboards across Sydney and Melbourne to spotlight 27 baristas from 22 cafes.
The campaign aims to increase visibility for these cafes who would not otherwise have the budget for advertising in the current economic climate.
Oatly Brand Director APAC Hazelle Klønhammer said the company wanted to support local businesses.
“Rather than spend our marketing budget entertaining people with our usual Oatly advertising, we’ve chosen to help the community, by shining a spotlight on the cafes and their baristas to help support their business by driving consumers directly to their cafes,” she said.
To redeem a free oat milk coffee Sydneysiders and Melbournians can call 1800-OATFIX from September 16-22.
