Audio entertainment business Nova is pitching its media account, AdNews can reveal.
Industry insiders say final presentations happened two weeks ago with a decision to been made shortly.
Incumbent Carat has held the account since wining the last pitch in 2017. IPG's Mediabrands held the account prior to that.
A media agency leader (at another agency) told AdNews media company accounts are unfavorable to pitch on as the client is more concerned with how much market share and revenue an agency can bring into the company, rather than creative ideas.
Another media agency leader told AdNews Nova will give the account to whichever agency that can promise the highest budget spend to the audio business.
The account is said to be worth $6 million.
Nova Entertainment and dentsu declined to comment.
GroupM agency Wavemaker previously held the Southern Cross Austereo's (SCA) media account, until the brand took its services in-house three years ago.
IPG's Initiative holds the ARN media account.
