Nine wins with Big Bang

A Big Bang Theory double-act once again won the night for Channel Nine as it extended its run over Channel Seven to three days on the trot.

A new episode managed to pull in 1.12 million viewers for the evening while a repeat shown afterward snagged fourth spot for the evening with 984,000 punters tuning in.

Meanwhile there were differing fortunes for Channel Seven's The Blacklist and The Big Adventure, with the James Spader drama managing to add viewers.

It managed to add 33,000 viewers week-on-week, finishing up with a total metro audience figure of 626,000, according to the preliminary overnight OzTAM figures.

The Blacklist continues to perform well on time-shifted viewing, with the latest timeshift figures indicating the show managed to add another 205,000 viewers on its overnight number, giving it the largest boost in time-shifting among its peers.

Meanwhile Seven's reality show The Big Adventure continues to shed viewers, with it dropping 19,000 viewers week-on-week.

It follows on from news that the Sunday showing of the reality show dropped 7% week-on-week yesterday, although it did suffer from being put head-to-head with 60 Minutes.

All in all the Big Bang Theory double-act delivered Nine a narrow win over Channel Seven, with Nine pulling in a 28.3% share to Seven's 27.9%.

ABC's strong Monday current affairs line-up gave it a 21.8% share for the evening while Network Ten grabbed 17.5% of viewers.
