Nine’s Paralympics broadcast gains national TV reach of 7.8 million

Nine’s broadcast of the the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games attracted a national TV reach of 7.8 million over the past five days.

With 9Now contributing 13% incremental reach to Broadcast TV, the Paralympic Games has resulted in 9Now remaining the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform since the Games began August 29. 

Nine’s broadcast has so far attracted a metro TV reach of 4.4 million viewers, a regional TV reach of 2.4 million and 1.3 million viewers reached via 9Now. To date, the Paralympics has resulted in 9Now recording a total of 97 million views.

“The Paralympics has again reinforced the powerhouse of total television for audiences and brands," said Nine’s director of sales - sports, Matt Granger.

"Our independent interim insight report has already shown that the Paris Olympics and now the Paralympic Games, are delivering brand awareness results significantly above any other major event benchmark.

“With more extraordinary para athlete performances and stories to come, there are more opportunities for our partner brands to benefit from this incredible association within Nine’s coverage of the Paralympic Games.”
