Nine Entertainment Co has appointed Greg Barnes as chief financial officer, effective from 4 July. He replaces Simon Kelly who left the business in January.
Barnes will report to Nine's CEO Hugh Marks, who says Barnes will assist in "taking advantages of the opportunities that lie ahead in the media sector".
Barnes is currently CFO of ASX-listed construction materials company CSR Limited.
The moves follow revenue chief Peter Wiltshire's exit after nine years at Nine. Michael Stephenson replaced Wiltshire, telling AdNews he is confident in the network's position.
Nine has had a slow start to the year, with a 5% YOY decline in revenue to $690 million in the first half of fiscal 2016. This is due to a poor Summer of Cricket and ratings.
