BBC Worldwide looks to sell BBC Magazines
BBC Worldwide, the corporation's commercial arm, is looking to sell the majority of its magazines business, BBC Magazines. BBC Worldwide is looking for a commercial partner who will purchase up to 85% of BBC Magazines. UK titles that will be affected by the sale include Radio Times, Top Gear, Good Food and Lonely Planet.

DMG appoints program directors
DMG has appointed Brad Hulme and Irene Hulme as program directors to its Adelaide radio stations. Brad Hulme, who was executive producer of the Dicko and Dave Melbourne breakfast program on Classic Rock, will be program director of 5AA. Irene Hulme, who was most recently program director at ARN's Mix 101.1 in Melbourne, will join as program director at Nova 919.

Seven Group poised to increase dividends
Kerry Stokes's Seven Group is poised to increase dividend payouts as a result of the merger. Stokes, the executive chairman, wrote in the company's annual report on Friday that the decision to merge Seven Network Ltd and WesTrac Group creates a new company with the "ability to pay increased dividends to shareholders". He also flagged potential acquisitions.
