News Corp Australia and Coles have rolled out a joint program to offer readers discounts o help them navigate a rising cost of living.

The four-week Cost of Living Daily Deals program, which starts today, is running every day across News Corp Australia’s state-based and regional mastheads offering the company’s consumers exclusive offers on a host of items, from groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables to baby and health products.

All mastheads will feature a Coles Daily Deal offer in print, online and in-app each day. Readers will be able to access a barcode with each daily offer through their digital subscription or purchase of a newspaper.

Readers scan the day’s barcode, along with their Flybuys card, in Coles stores or at Coles Online to redeem the daily deal. Today’s offer is $10 off your total shop when you spend $100 at Coles.

The Cost of Living Daily Deals program will be supported by a multi-channel marketing campaign that will run across print, digital, social, radio, and digital out-of-home.

Mark Reinke, News Corp Australia’s managing director for consumer, said: “Our recently launched Smart Savers editorial series has been helping audiences combat the impact of higher bills with budget calculators, seven-day meal plans and where to find the hidden bargains. Now, we are building on that great content with special offers to save them money.

“We are delighted to partner with Coles to launch this major cost-of-living program. The strong crossover between Coles’ supermarket shoppers and our audiences makes this program particularly compelling by combining the reach of our mastheads with unbeatable offers from Coles.

“Over the next month our teams will work collaboratively to unlock discounts across a range of products and services that could save readers hundreds of dollars, providing them with added value from their subscriptions.”
