Ten brings back I'm A Celebrity

Ten has announced that it will be bringing back reality series I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here for a second season in 2016.

Julia Morris and Chris Brown will both return as hosts for the show, as they travel back to the South African jungle to broadcast the show to air live.

Network Ten chief programming officer Beverley McGarvey said: “Launching a new brand against very established competitors is never easy and we were very pleased with how the first season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! performed."

Drugstore links with Pollenizer

Drugstore, the start-up consultancy launched in Sydney last month, has formed a collaboration with technology incubator business Pollenizer.

Drugstore Sydney was launched by Publicis Worldwide and ZenithOptimedia to help clients manage a business environment where disruption is impacting many major industries.

Starting with the Pollenizer partnership, Drugstore Sydney will provide large-scale clients with access to small entrepreneurial businesses that specialize in innovation.

IAA launches student initiative

The International Advertising Association (IAA) is to offer university students around Australia the opportunity to hone their skills in real world environment with the 'Big Idea' initiative.

Launched today, it is Australia's only national marketing communications challenge specially created for student teams.

RB* is support partner in this national competition. Students will be asked to devise a marketing communications campaign for Save the Children Australia.

Yahoo 7 appoints director of technology

Paul Russell, formerly managing director of SoftwareSeni, has been appointed Yahoo7 director of technology (Australia and New Zealand).

Paul steps into the role with more than 15 years of experience in the digital sector. Previously he held a number of senior technology executive roles at Salmat, Network Ten and Fairfax Digital.

He will join the Yahoo7 team in mid-August and will be based in the Sydney office.
