Get your credit cards ready tech lovers, because Snapchat just made their Spectacles available online. Forget finding a randomly located Snapbot and waiting in line for hours, you can now buy one of the elusive gadgets at Spectacles.com. The catch – they are still only available in the US.

Uber CEO launches ‘urgent’ investigation sexual harassment claims

Following the reporting of extensive harassment at the company by a former employee, Uber has addressed concerns over potential misconduct and discrimination. The former employee, Susan Fowler, detailed incidents on her personal blog of sexual harassment and general disarray. Uber CEO Travis Kalanick took to Twitter to announce an “urgent investigation” into the claims.

The Oscars hit new heights with ad revenue

Brands like McDonald’s, Samsung, Walt Disney, Revlon Adidas and Anheuser-Busch, are forking out up to $2.5 million dollars for a 30-second spot during the 89th Annual Academy Awards. With a week to go before the Oscars, the show has sold out of ad inventory on the ABC, despite one of its smallest ratings awards last year. But even with those lower ratings, the ceremony was still the fourth most watched telecast of 2016 in the US, behind only Super Bowl 50.

Bonds gets influential

Bonds is the latest in a slew of companies engaging with social media influencers to carry brand campaigns. The underwear label has named model and social media influencer Sarah Ellen as the face of Bonds for its AW17 collection. She follows in the footsteps of Miranda Kerr, Ruby Rose and Iggy Azalea. The campaign for the new collection will shoot this week.
