Peter James announced new Snakk Media head
Mobile ad technology company Snakk Media have appointed Peter James as their Sydney-based executive director and chair.
The current chair Derek Handley, who has been in his role for five years, will step down at the end of 2015.
Handley said the timing was right to “refesh” the board and as companies move from start-up to listing, it is “important they add new talent across all areas of the company.”
James’ experience includes two decades as board member of many Australian public companies. He currently chairs Macquarie Telecom Group and a range of digital media and technology businesses in Australia and the US. Until last week, James was a director of iiNet, recently acquired by TPG for $1.5 billion.
Paul Townsend heads MCN's WA office
Multi Channel Network (MCN) today announced the launch of its Western Australian operation under Perth sales director Paul Townsend. Townsend was previously WA sales director at Network Ten.
The new WA sales team includes 10 staff from Network Ten who have recently been transitioned MCN’s new structure.
Local business Media Tonic, which has looked after Perth sales for the past eight years, will end their contract on August 31.
