Origin Energy pitches media account
Origin Energy has confirmed to AdNews that it is pitching its media account - which currently sits with Mindshare.
A spokesperson confirmed the media pitch, which also coincides with Energy Australia's media review. The business is also with a GroupM agency – MediaCom.
Spirit of Tasmania calls for creative and media services
TT-Line Company - the operators of Spirit of Tasmania I and II, has called for tenders for creative and media services.
CEO Bernard Dwyer says the open tender process is important for brand growth, and will see the appointment of a media agency and creative agency for a three-year term.
Dwyer accredited ad agency, Cummins&Partners, and media agency, Maxus, for their work for the account.
There has been no comment if Cummins&Partners will be pitching again.
Brisbane Airport seeks RFP for out of home media companies
Brisbane Airport Corporation is inviting Australia’s leading out of home companies to respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the opportunity to operation in the southern (Virgin Australia) end of Brisbane Airport’s domestic terminal building.
This request will require the operator to demonstrate it has the necessary experience, capacity, resources and understanding to partner with BAC to deliver its advertising vision.
The contract will commence 1 July 2016 and expire on 30 March 2020, with a term of three years and nine months.
Sizmek appoints lead sales in Australia and New Zealand
Sizmek, the open ad management company for omni-channel campaigns, has appointed media and advertising industry executive, Imran Masood, as sales director for the company’s Australia and New Zealand operations.
Masood was previously sales director for digital marketing technology provider, Amobee.
Masood will head sales across the company’s four key focus areas; programmatic, mobile, video and data. His mandate includes driving further adoption of Sizmek’s MDX open ad management platform and overseeing the programmatic business unit, formed last year.
