Publicis Pusher names creative director
Creative digital marketing agency Publicis Pusher has named Steve Mair as creative director. Mair is previously creative director of digital at BCM Partnership, where he worked for more than seven years, mostly on digital brand assignments. His client experience includes Sony, Pfizer, Federal and State Governments, Brisbane City Council, Queensland University of Technology and digital games marketer at EA. He will work closely with the agency’s general manager Andrew Kolb.
OMG agency Foundation hires GM
Media agency Foundation has promoted Liz Wigmore, previously head of client service, to the newly created position of general manager, effective immediately. Wigmore has been with Omnicom’s boutique media agency for eleven years. As well as Wigmore’s promotion, Foundation has also brought on two extra digital specialists. Louise Hutley joins Foundation from Vizeum in the role of digital account manager in the Mercedes-Benz team and Lily Wu has been transferred to Foundation from PHD under the OMG internal mobility policy. Wu has been promoted to senior digital account manager and will work across a suite of premium client accounts.
IPG's Society appoints head of planning
IPG Mediabrands’ socially-led marketing agency Society has appointed Johan Micheelsen as head of planning across the Sydney, Brisbane and Perth agencies. Micheelsen joins from OMD, where he was digital account director, and he has also worked at Mindshare and GroupM in his home country Denmark. His appointment follows the arrival of Alex Erasmus as general manager of Society Sydney in August.
