Holden taps Snapchat for State of Origin

Holden is launching a major Snapchat campaign for the State of Origin, becoming the first auto brand to run a Sponsored Lens in Australia. The filter allows the user to choose their team, QLD or NSW, and swat away the other team. This also markes the first time Snapchat has covered the State of Origin rugby series with an Our Story. Our Story strings together content the community submits for the game in a chronological narrative. Holden says it got on board with Snapchat to reach a more "modern and progressive audience" in a meaningful way.

PublicisQ wins Brisbane retailer

Indooroopilly Shopping Centre has awarded its full-service communications account to PublicisQ in Queensland. In a competitive pitch involving several agencies, PublicisQ was chosen for its focus on bringing an integrated strategy, creative, media and technology platform together for Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. The client and agency are working to reposition Indooroopilly Shopping Centre from its ‘exclusive fashion’ focus to a consumer-centric communications platform for the brand that will evolve and roll out over the coming months.

The Hallway picks up work for ANZ Bank

Sydney independent The Hallway has picked up the creative duties for ANZ Bank’s cards team. ANZ’s brand creative account will still sit with TBWA Melbourne. TBWA has worked with ANZ since 2011, producing campaigns including GayTM and Equal Future. The Hallway will work on the brand’s digital and data-driven marketing for its Cards team.
