Havas Group brings all of its Sydney agencies under one roof
Havas Group has announced it will bring all of its Sydney agencies together in an expansion of its 'Havas Village'. The decision has been made as part of the larger, global, 'Together' strategy by Havas. The new office will be located in a 6000m2 heritage-listed building at 121 Harrington Street and will bring 450 staff from across all the Havas Group’s Sydney business units together for the first time in one location. This includes Host/Havas, Red Agency, Havas Media, Havas Sports & Entertainment, Blvd, BD Network and One Green Bean which joins the Village from its current offices in Surry Hills. Havas Group merged Havas and Host to create Host/Havas late last year. The merger resulted in former Havas CEO Anthony Gregorio leaving after more than 15 years at the agency.
Travel Associates signs on as channel partner for BBC First
BBC Studios Australia and New Zealand has announced specialist holiday agents Travel Associates have signed on as a partner for its premium british drama channel BBC First. The partnership, conceived and developed with Multi Channel Network, is set to run for three months, and will commence in April this year. BBC Studio’s in-house creative team has produced a series of on-air sponsorship assets to support the campaign, including integrated billboards, channel sponsor idents as well as exclusive behind the scenes previews. The sponsorship has come off the back of a significant increase in audiences for BBC First. The last two months alone has seen the channel increase its audience by 19% for total people and 21% for People 25-54 year-on-year.
