GPY&R wins San Churro creative; expands team
GPY&R Melbourne has been appointed as the creative agency for chocolate chain San Churro. San Churro currently operates more than 50 stores nationwide with plans to expand in 2017. GPY&R will be responsible for “developing results-driven communications”.
In other GPY&R news, its Brisbane arm has appointed former Publicis Pusher GM Andrew Kolb as head of digital planning. Kolb has previously worked at The White Agency and Publicis Mojo, across a range of clients, including Foot Locker, Queensland Government, AirAsia, Parmalat, Mack Trucks and Mantra Hotels.
DDI bolsters senior team
Independent agency DDI has brought on two senior executives to its team, including Angie Laxton as lead strategist and Stephanie Levy as client partner. Laxton has been promoted from her role as strategist, joining 18 months ago with more than 15 years’ experience at agencies including BWM, Clemenger BBDO, JWT and Leo Burnett. Levy has held roles at Nielsen, Eithad Airways and Edelman.
