Digital radio on the rise
New data shows digital radio is on the rise in Australia, with 40% of Australians in major cities now having accessing to a DAB+ device.
Joan Warner, CEO of Commercial Radio Australia said the industry is pleased with the new figures from GfK, which show a strong adoption rate for digital radio.
The data comes as a $2 million marketing campaign is launched by the commercial radio industry and radio manufacturers Bush and retailers JB Hi-Fi and Dick Smith to promote radio sales in the run-up to Christmas.
