Airbnb CEO hits out at Cannes for lack of diversity
Airbnb CMO Jonathan Mildenhall has hit out at Cannes Lions organisers for the second time for "only three brown faces" being among this year's speakers. Mildenhall said it was "not cool" for the organisers of this year’s International Festival of Creativity to include only three non-white people among the 102 speakers it had lined up this year. Last month, Mildenhall was named president of this year’s creative effectiveness Lions jury at Cannes. He said at the time, while marketing industry is becoming "more inclusive", it still has work to do.
Not cool #canneslions 102 speakers and only 3 brown faces. I'm confused are we a GLOBAL festival of creativity? https://t.co/7LHVrSx1N8

Condom brand Durex is now making jeans
April Fools is right around the corner, but apparently this isn't a hoax. Condom brand Durex has announced the launch of "Durex Jeans" for the Indian market. To herald the denim line's arrival, it released an ad on social media with Bollywood star Ranveer Singh emerging from a dressing room proclaiming, "Durex is launching jeans, and I'm going to be the first one to wear it. Hey .. it fits really well!"
