The replacement for outgoing Telstra media and marketing managing director Mark Buckman will be made within weeks, the telco has confirmed.
Speaking at this morning's full year results for the telco, CEO David Thodey said he looks forward to announcing Buckman's replacement soon.
He said: “Mark has been a great contributor to the business and we are going to miss him. Mark has made some decisions, for personal reasons, to head off to the UK.
“As with any big company, we have got to have new capabilities to bring through and we look forward to making an announcement in the next four to six weeks about who the next chief marketing officer will be.”
Buckman, who joined Telstra in 2011, announced his decision to leave Telstra last month.
