Streaming media company Netflix is pitching its Australian media account.
The incumbent is GroupM's Wavemaker which is understood to be defending.
The shortlist is said to include Wavemaker, Initiative, Kaimera and S4's The Monks.
Netflix also works with creative agencies Akcelo and Jack Nimble.
The brand has done big local campaigns such as Bridgerton in Bowral and Upside Down downunder emergency, both of which have been shortlisted for AdNews' Agency of the Year Awards for two years running.
Netflix posted a 15% lift in revenue to $US9.82 billion for the September quarter, mostly in line with market expectations.
