Summernats has appointed Sydney independent marketing agency Murmur Group as its key media agency for the season long series of events and the newly launched National Drag Racing Championship.
Murmur will be responsible for the media strategy, buying, planning, and marketing of all Summernats-owned events that also includes RockyNATS, Red CentreNATS, Motorvation, MotorEx, Dust Hustle.
Murmur Group’s managing director, Dave Levett said the team are excited about the opportunity to work with the Summernats group of brands that showcase such a unique offering for automotive fans all over the country.
"Off the back of the last few years, there’s a growing appetite for great events, and we can’t wait to do our part to grow the Summernats series of events," said Levett.
"I experienced my first ‘rubber tan’ only a few weeks ago after having to find out exactly what one is, and look forward to many more as we integrate ourselves with this wonderful family of brands."
Andy Lopez, director and co-owner of Summernats, said Murmur's strategic thinking and creative solutions will no doubt prove invaluable in elevating the brand and expanding its reach in both the car festival and drag racing realms.
"We expect the partnership to further elevate our suite of events as the ultimate destinations for automotive enthusiasts and drag racing fans in Australia," he said.
The Summernats account win comes fresh after Murmur’s recent acquisition of the Lululemon media account, as well as Blacktown City Council, and Form 700.
