Movers and Shakers: UnLtd's new boss and eHarmony's match

Adland is full of big moves at the moment. Here are the hires, promotions and exits of this week:

Former Pandora marketer finds a match with eHarmony

A week after it emerged that Nicole McInnes had left Pandora, she's already resurfaced at online dating site eHarmony, taking on the role of marketing director. McInnes joins eHarmony in June and replaces senior marketing manager Lynsey Tomkinson who left the company earlier this month to move back to the UK. Read more here.

Telstra hires ex-BMF CEO; 50 media and marketing roles could be axed

Telstra has made two senior appointments in the midst of a job cull which could see up to 50 jobs in its media and marketing division axed, according to The Australian.

The Telco giant has hired former CEO of digital marketing agency BMF, Jeremy Nicholas – who was also previously a marketing exec at Visa. It has also appointed Andy McFarlane as global enterprise services marketing director - he had been in the role on an acting basis since March. Read more here.

David Jones marketers depart; amid raft of exec changes

David Jones has revealed a raft of senior management changes that has seen two of the retailers top marketers depart.
David Robinson, group executive – marketing, financial services and customer insights has left the business, as well as the retailer's general manger of marketing, Victoria Doidge has also departed. Read more here.

Ex-IAB CEO Paul Fisher named new UnLtd boss

Media and advertising foundation UnLtd has named former IAB chief executive Paul Fisher as its new CEO.
Fisher replaces Steve Taitoko, who was named as the organisation's first ever CEO in October 2015, with Taitoko said to be moving into a pro-bono strategy role with UnLtd at the end of the financial year. Read more here.

Mi9's Emma-Jayne Owens resurfaces at Big Mobile

Former national sales director at Mi9, Emma-Jayne Owens has resurfaced at Big Mobile as its group sales director.
Owens started at Mi9 in 2010 and was promoted to national sales director in 2013. She departed the business after a restructure last year and has now been tasked with leading revenues across Big Mobile's growing APAC footprint. Read more here.

Former Bacardi marketer joins OMD's content hub

OMD has appointed former Bacardi head of marketing Kristie Asciak to the head its content division, OMD Fuse. The previous head, Jez Clarke, is returning to the UK. Prior to joining OMD, Asciak was head of marketing at Bacardi Lion. Most recently she has been working on contract as communications director of Telstra at OMD Fuse. Read more here.

SCA poaches WIN sales head for Melbourne

Southern Cross Austereo has appointed a former WIN NBN sales director as head of TV sales in Melbourne. Otto Ablinger's role will be to maximise SCA’s television revenue in the Melbourne advertising agency market. Ablinger has more than 20 years' experience working in senior sales roles, most recently as the Melbourne national sales director for the WIN Television Network. 

Nova appoints strategy lead

Nova Entertainment has announced the appointment of Nathan Reay to the newly created position of head of strategy and development at the company. Read more here.
