The General Store names Sophie Lander MD
Sophie Lander has been appointed managing director, The General Store. She has experience leading agencies in Australia and Canada, most recently been at cummins&partners as national MD and before that GM at Dentsu Creative.
Three partners, Simon Bagnasco, Alex Speakman and Matilda Hobba, at Bullfrog are exiting the Melbourne independent agency after less than a year in the roles, AdNews can reveal. The three will be launching their own company, with Speakman staying on in a reduced capacity. A Bullfrog spokesperson confirmed the moves to AdNews.
Stephen Hunt is the new UnLtd CEO
Stephen Hunt has been appointed CEO of UnLtd, the industry’s social purpose organisation. He replaces Chris Freel, now group sales director at outdoor media specialist oOh!media. Hunt was most recently CEO and co-founder of Music Health Inc and has held senior leadership roles at Universal Music Group, TubeMogul, AdConion and News Corp.
Cocogun has hired key talent: a new business partner, a designer and a business director/copywriter, a newly-created hybrid role. Christine Watts, formerly of Wunderman and 303 MullenLow, has joined as business partner, spearheading new business alongside MD and co-founder Chiquita King. Former APAC marketing and communications lead at Macquarie and Jawun Indigenous Corporate Partnerships Alumni, Kirsty Reynolds has joined Cocogun in a newly-created business director and copywriter. Cocogun’s new designer is Shev Tan, who brings a unique blend of skills including design, illustration, editing of video and motion graphics.
BRING – Universal Music for Brands elevates two team members and adds new role
James Wilkinson has been promoted to senior creative manager at creative agency BRING, while Isabella Ziino has been promoted to senior account manager and Lucy Ruff has joined the team in the newly created business development director role.
