Movers & Shakers: SKMG, iProspect, InMobi, Initiative, 303 MullenLowe

It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out some of the biggest moves this week.

Sam Somers becomes GM
Shoebridge Knowles Media Group (SKMG) has appointed Sam Somers general manager. He joined SKMG in October 2020 as a communications consultant. Before that he was senior communications manager at media and marketing communications agency PHD Australia. His resume also includes roles at Resolution Digital and m2m Media.

iProspect promotes two in investment team
iProspect has promoted Vera Manalac to group investment director, joining the Sydney leadership team. Alongside Manalac’s promotion, iProspect has also expanded Nicola Barnes’ remit to include both NSW and Victoria. Since joining the business in March 2021, Barnes previously worked as an investment director in Victoria for iProspect’s sister media agency, Carat. 

Jaclyn Hadida named InMobi's ANZ country manager
Mobile advertising technology company InMobi has appointed Jaclyn Hadida as the country manager for ANZ, managing sales, client services and in-region partnerships. Most recently serving as enterprise sales director for ANZ at Taboola, she also previously spent over seven years at Bauer Media Group in a variety of senior roles including group business director.

Amber Abbott and Lauren Bailey promoted
Creative communications agency one green bean has appointed Amber Abbott as managing director. Abbott, who has been promoted to MD from her role as general manager, assumes responsibility for the agencys strategic direction. 

Abbott will be supported by Lauren Bailey, who has been promoted to the new role of managing partner and director of innovation. She rejoined ogb as executive director in 2022 from her role as group manager of PR, CX strategy & content at Scentre Group.

Initiative appoints IAG's Tom Dodd national strategy director
Media agency Initiative has appointed Tom Dodd national strategy director. Dodd will be based in Melbourne and will work alongside chief strategy & product officer Chris Colter.

303 MullenLowe Perth appoints Damian Royce chief creative officer
Damian Royce, the former ECD at Havas Melbourne, has been appointed to the newly created position of chief creative officer at 303 MullenLowe Perth. In a career spanning 25 years, Royce has also held creative leadership positions at TBWA, Cummins&Partners, and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, where he was a creative director and company leadership board director.

KOJO appoints Adrian Blizzard as business director as part of Tasmania expansion
KOJO has expanded into the Tasmanian market, appointing former Australian cricketer Aiden Blizzard as business director and securing Cricket Tasmania, Blundstone Arena and Hobart Hurricanes as its launch partners.
