Movers & Shakers: SCA, Cartology, ACM, Zenith

It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out the biggest moves in adland this week.  

Allen Williams goes

Australian Community Media CEO and managing director Allen Williams has resigned from the publisher. He will finish up at ACM on December 18. His career spans more than 40 years and has worked in senior management roles across Australia, New Zealand and the US. Before joining Rural Press in June 1990 to lead the national sales operation, Williams worked at News Limited, Australian Consolidated Press and The Asher Joel Media Group.

Joshua Lee promoted at Zenith  

Zenith Australia CEO, Nickie Scriven, announced the promotion of Joshua Lee to the new role of national head of digital & data. He has been elevated from his current position as head of digital in Melbourne. Lee also joins the agency’s national executive team. Lee is charged with leading the ongoing product development of specialist digital and data solutions, while identifying commercial and innovation opportunities for clients. 

Hugo Boss names new marketer
Hugo Boss has appointed Nick Troedson as regional director of marketing and communications SEAPAC. Troedson has more than 20 years’ experience across luxury communications, marketing, creative direction, styling and visual merchandising. He will work with the Boss brand on developing key marketing and communication strategies in the SEAPAC region. Before joining the Boss team, he held lead management positions in Asia Pacific and was a key regional brand representative for several top tier luxury brands and luxury ecommerce leaders across marketing, communication, creative and visual merchandising departments.

New acting GM at SCA Perth
Marc Eddy has been with SCA since 2008 as audio operations manager for WA and SA. He now takes on a dual role as acting general manager.  He replaces up from Erica McGee who has decided to step down to focus on the mix94.5 brand. 

Director of operations at Cartology

Former Nine Entertainment executive Chris Rutten is the new director of operations at Cartology, the Woolworths retail media unit. He joins with extensive experience in platform development and operations across digital, OOH, broadcast and publishing. In his most recent in-house role, he served as Nine Entertainment Corp’s digital chief operating officer.

Lisa Levesque is ACM's Victorian strategy director

Australian Community Media (ACM) has appointed Lisa Levesque to the newly created role of Victorian strategy director. Her appointment is aimed at enhancing ACM's strategic proposition to both agencies and national clients.
